About us

Tony is the founder of Egghead, and has great experience in delivering complex projects with technically innovative solutions. The depth of his experience spans many industries and application types, and he is something of a visionary. He also has a passion for the process of web and software development as this minimises risk, and risk is not something that you should lose sleep over. Unless you want to do something really cutting edge…

Linda is one of the founding members of Egghead, and she is passionate about the company and the web design we produce. She is always excited to see the new sites being made live, knowing that we are helping businesses by giving them a website to be proud of.

She is a keen watercolourist and loves cycling and line dancing.  She also likes to get involved with local events and loves a good cause.

Sara joined the company in April 2007 from Caterpillar, where she gained lots of experience in Six Sigma Processes, in which she qualified as a green belt.   

She is a passionate horsewoman, has an Airedale Terrier called Ruby and a cat called Chrissie, and has just successfully completed The National Three Peaks Challenge.

Charlotte joined the company from the Womens Merchandising Department at Next, where she gained much experience in dealing with people overseas and at home, and solving their problems. She brings a lively and tenacious personality to Egghead and enjoys helping her customers.
She has a boxer called Tia who she loves taking for a walk, and a handsome cat called Troy.

Mike Bailey is the creative driving force of the company. He joined Egghead following a period at a well respected communications agency, where he worked in many areas of design. We’re very pleased and proud to have obtained his services for Egghead, and since joining the Company as our creative lead, he has had the opportunity to spread his creative wings and push our work to new heights. Mike gives us the ability to deliver not only technically complex web solutions, but ones that are visually beautiful as well.

Jon Curry is our Senior Web Designer. He’s been with the Company longer than anybody else, and is a master of all aspects of web design including the finer points of usability, accessibility, and web standards compliance.

Gavin Bates is a talented and enthusiastic web designer. He joined the company in February 2008 and has become an expert on our Content Management System. Working alongside Jon, Gavin has delivered many complex sites for our clients.

David is a highly exceptional software engineer and we have harnessed that talent. He is now responsible for ensuring that we keep up to date with the latest developments in the software technologies we use. He also has massive experience in making disparate systems work together harmoniously.

An experienced software engineer and something of an academic authority. Cosimo joined us during the final stages of his Ph.D. and with a welter of academic prizes to his credit, adds theoretical and intellectual depth to the team.

Dave joined the Company straight from University and we grabbed the opportunity to employ him because of his incredible passion for writing software. In his time with us, he has gone from strength to strength, and now has responsibilities that span Quality Assurance and coding.

James joined the Company in June 2008 to head-up our support infrastructure, and since his arrival he has implemented a sophisticated web-based support tool which gives you incredible visibility of support issues. His calm and collected nature is ideally suited to resolving any problems effectively and rapidly. In his spare time he is passionate about live stand up comedy and can often be found in a comedy club somewhere..

Dariusz is a Software engineer from Wolomin in Poland. He attended University in Warsaw and Coventry. Clever Lad! He has an MSC in Computer Science. He enjoys cycling, listening to music or watching breakdance videos. Congratulations to Dariusz for continuing his studies and passing the first part of Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist exam.

John has joined us as a web developer having previously worked for a London based design agency. He has 5 years web and print design and is developing some really exciting sites. He is a Sheffield Wednesday season ticket holder.

Luke has joined as a Junior Web Developer. He has a BA Honours in Media Production and graduated from coventry university. Luke is also a harmonica player in a reggae band.

Paul Quinn joined the company in December 2009, having recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University. Paul has a huge passion for the role and is excited to be working with Egghead Design LTD.
Paul loves to cycle to work each and every morning.
