Flash Design
Flash is method of adding animation to sites. However, sites that use too much flash are often difficult to use and not search engine friendly. Egghead Design uses Flash sparingly to enhance a site.
The Great Flash Debate
Flash done well can really add value to a site. It can do things that "normal" (XHTML to the initiated) web sites just cannot achieve. However, there is a huge debate raging in the web design community at the moment. Many people build Flash only sites that look visually compelling. However, they are often difficult and unintuitive to use, and cannot be easily found via Google. They often take a long time to load. Also, they are not accessible.
Our Approach
Egghead Design uses Flash sparingly, just to enhance our designs. Whenever we use Flash, we make sure that the site is search engine friendly, accessible and useable.
