In a combined project with the Royal Mail & ChannelAdvisor, we’ve designed an eBay store that’s fully integrated with the SanDisk UK distribution partner so that orders, product data, inventory levels, pricing etc. are transferred electronically to save time and reduce errors.

3M Select is the flagship site representing the many household name products that 3M have innovated including Post-It notes, Scotch tape and Scotchguard. We built an integration between the website and their order processing system

BPS

The British Psychological Society is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. They have an extensive membership and have a huge array of items that they provide for their members, from publications to conferences and events. The Society decided that they would make an online channel available for these items so that members can buy leaflets or book conference places easily. The site is intertwined with the BPS Membership System which provides the data and business rules for these sometimes highly complex offerings.

MyProtein

MyProtein are a high volume supplier of exceptional quality sports nutrition products. They approached us at a difficult time for them – the original provider they had engaged to build the site had recently gone into receivership and the project was massively behind schedule and over budget. Egghead stepped in and provided project management and development services, and by adopting a bunker mentality, got the site live and working across their business. Challenges along the way included improving performance so that under load testing, the site did not time out when processing high volumes of orders.

Following the initial stage, Egghead went on to make the www.myprotein.com a multi-lingual, multi-currency site providing a platform for the company to expand its sales operations into mainland Europe.

Shop Direct

Shop Direct Group own a number of major brands including Littlewoods, Additions, and Woolworths. We built a sophisticated ecommerce site for their Littlewoods Clearance brand, implementing reductive navigation using the Fact Finder enterprise on-site search engine. The site was fully integrated into their warehouse management system, saving several members of staff from having to re-key orders.
