East Midlands Business delivers public sector contracts which improve the prospects of individuals and businesses, maximising their contribution to the economy. They also administer significant grant funds on behalf of a variety of partners and are skilled at delivering European funded projects.

Being an extremely well managed organisation, EMB place great emphasis on developing their personnel, providing training, personal development plans and continuing professional development to all members of staff.

Egghead designed and built a sophisticated learning and development aid, based on the Kentico CMS platform. With a fluid and easy to use interface, this system aids further career development by using a role based learning system which allows users to manage their training modules and personal development and for their managers to review their performance. This system also promotes better cross-company communication with an events calendar which lets users register and schedule events.

With around 300 employees, this was a huge project to undertake, but Egghead surpassed expectations with this highly sophisticated learning and development aid. The results were so successful that EMB are actively marketing it to other parties.
